Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELISABETH THIELE (nee RIETZE) August 20, 1918 - November 25, 2000 With great sadness, we announce the passing of our loving wife and mother after courageously battling a lengthy illness, she died peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 25 surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her husband Alfred of 47 years and daughters, Rosita (Pat) and Lorena (Tim). She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Services will be held at Klassen Funeral Chapel located at 1897 Henderson Hwy., on Tuesday, November 28 at 10:00 a.m. A private interment will be held for the family. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Dr. Doermer, Concordia Hospital, Dr. Pat Harris and her staff of the Oncology Department, River East Physiotherapy, the staff from Homecare and Bayshore Healthcare and VON, with particular thanks to Deborah Vitt who was with us in the final moments to guide our mom to her resting place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concordia Hospital Oncology Department or Concordia Hospital Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
